Sobre este safari
This is the safari most visitors picture when they think of Dubai. Your driver collects you from your hotel in the afternoon and heads east on the Al Awir road to the Lahbab dunes, where the sand turns deep red.
After a stop to deflate the tyres and take photos, you get 25 to 30 minutes of dune bashing: climbing, sliding and drifting across the dunes in a Land Cruiser. Guests who prefer a calmer ride can say so and the driver will adapt. Sunset is spent at the top of a dune with time for photos.
At Golden Dunes Camp the evening includes a short camel ride, sandboarding, henna painting, Arabic coffee and dates, unlimited soft drinks, water, tea and coffee, and a BBQ buffet with vegetarian options. Belly dance, Tanoura and fire shows follow dinner. Drop-off at your hotel is around 9:30 pm.

How long is the dune bashing?+
About 25 to 30 minutes. Tell the driver if you would like it gentler; there is no extra charge to skip it and be driven to the camp by the flat track.
Is alcohol available?+
Yes, Golden Dunes Camp is licensed. Add the drinks package on the booking page or pay at the bar.
What if I am vegetarian?+
The buffet always has vegetarian dishes. Note vegan or gluten-free needs in the booking notes.
